So I just watched this documentary called Mortified, which documents adults reading from their childhood diaries. I have been struggling with a fear of working with high school students, not my main demographic. But thinking back and watching this documentary allowed me to access my inner adolescent and maybe make them less scary.
Anyways it is awesome and you should all watch it.
I found this clip very entreating it reminds me of my first time attending a Petra Chuka at Maartyrs. I think it is very empowering to reveal your should to a roomful of strangers. I think it also allows you to see that some of your issues are no more strange than say the person sitting next to you. I think it can be a great ice breaker for my summer programs as well as provide my videographer and storytellers a great opportunity to collaborate on special moments and events from their past. Bravo! Tony Smith
